Wildfire Home Inspection (IBHS Wildfire Prepared Home–Aligned) Get a professional, science-based evaluation of your home’s wildfire vulnerability aligned to the Wildfire Prepared Home™ standard from the Insurance Institute for Business & Home Safety (IBHS). We inspect the critical risk zones—roof and gutters, vents and openings, 0–5 ft noncombustible “home ignition zone,” decks/fences, siding, windows/doors, and surrounding vegetation—then deliver a clear report mapped to the same data points insurers use. You’ll receive prioritized fixes and contractor-ready guidance to meet Base (ember defense, 0–5 ft home buffer, exterior maintenance) and, where feasible, Plus (added material upgrades for radiant heat/direct flame) requirements. We can also coordinate mitigation work and document improvements to support your Wildfire Prepared Home designation application.
Note: IBHS designation is optional and handled directly through the program; IBHS charges separate application/inspection fees (e.g., application fee and third-party evaluation)
